Professor Dao Van Long is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist with more than 35 years of experience.
Presently, Professor Dao Van Long is the Vice Director of Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology,
Vietnam (since 2018) and has been a lecturer of Internal Medicine Faculty, Hanoi Medical University,
Vietnam since 1986. His previous role was Director of Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Vietnam and
Endoscopy center, Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Vietnam. He was also the former Vice Dean of
Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam. He has a great interest in gastro-esophageal reflux disease,
gastrointestinal functional disorders, early diagnostics and therapeutics of gastrointestinal cancer, and
