Author Guidelines

To submit your paper, You need to register first then submit your paper. Please read carefully and prepare your files (especially the manuscript file) as instructed here in Author's Guidelines. A manuscript that does not follow the format will be returned to the author before undergoing any screening or review process. 




Editorials

Editorials: are the opinions of recognized leaders in cancer specialties. Editorials are generally solicited by the Editor-in-Chief and are related to a manuscript on the same issue. The length should not exceed 2,400 words and with no more than 20 references.

Correspondence

Letters to the Editor or Correspondences are related to papers previously published in the APJCP. Letters must be submitted within six months of the online publication date of the article. The authors of the original publication will be given the opportunity to respond in the same issue of the journal. Letters and responses must not exceed 750 words in length. Financial associations or other potential conflicts of interest must be declared.

Research Articles/ Original Work

Research Articles Scientific reports of original research. The text for research articles is limited to 5,000 words including the title page, abstract, body of manuscript (Introduction, metrical and Methods, Results, Discussion acknowledgment, references).

Systematic Review and Meta-analysis:

Systematic Review and Meta-analysis are essential to summarize evidence relating to any knowldge acuratly and and reliably.
Poor reporting of systematic reviews diminishes the values of systemtic review and may contradict its aim. All the systtematic reviews must comply by the PRISMA statment. Click here to read about the PRISMA statmemnt. a

Methodological papers

Manuscripts containing a description of novel methods and significant improvements to tried-and-tested basic research techniques related to cancer are welcome. The manuscript has to provide readers with new tools and skills to improve their methodology and/or conduct their research.

Short Communications

Short Communications are brief notes on selected topics from recognized cancer organizations such as the Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention. The length should not exceed 2,000 words and with no more than 2 tables and figures, and no more than 20 references.

Commentaries/ letter to editor

Commentaries presents a point of view of general interest not related to an article in the same issue of the APJCB.
